Get your LinkedIn identity badge
Get the identity verification badge on your LinkedIn profile before your meeting. Follow these three steps.
1. Open your LinkedIn profile
Sign in to the LinkedIn profile you shared in your application. Look for Add verification badge or Verify now. If you already have the identity verification badge, you do not need to repeat the process.

The identity verification badge is free. LinkedIn Premium is not required.
2. Complete the verification
- Choose Identity verification and follow the instructions shown by LinkedIn.
- Complete the identity document and selfie checks if asked. Continue on your phone if LinkedIn tells you to.
- Allow the verification result to be shared with LinkedIn when asked.
3. Check your identity verification badge
Return to your profile and check for the badge beside your name. Open the badge and confirm that Identity is verified.
